Is this a good starter car?

Four cylinder and automatic transmission would be a very good starter car. Don't have to worry about shifting and the four cylinder will not be over-powering for you at first and of course more economical to drive these days. And with winter coming at least for us in the northern states a front wheel drive car is more sure footed on icy and snow covered roads if you live in an area that has that. Good luck.
