Nose injury a while ago, does it have any impact?

About 3 years ago, a mate accidentally hit my nose (it bled, but the nose wasn't broken) and a bump has grown there. It hurt but I'm pretty sure it wasnt broken. Im just wondering if this had any impact on the growth of my nose? Like for example, had this not have happened, would my nose be longer and pointer today? My nose isnt deformed or anything, just a bump near the top section of my nose.
