2 year old with difficulty speaking?

My friends baby is 2 years old now, and she has a hard time talking.. Like, my name is Paula and she calls me Paw.. She can say momma, dadda, oreo (thier rabbit), baba (bottle), soap, bath, , die (her mom killed a wasp and told her that it died and that is her new favorite word now, go figure) and a few other things, but she has trouble saying them.. She uses her tongue a lot when she talks.. Like her mom watches Nip Tuck and she says Niuh Tuck, and to say tila she says tia... I dont think she has autism because she is VERY social.. she absolutely LOVES when people go over there, she is always hanging all over someone.. She does get very angry though, like when she is mad she will scream at the top of her lungs and start throwing her toys at you/the wall/anything else. My friend said that she is going to take her to a speech cl after Christmas but I was just wondering if this was normal or if you think that it is something else..
