Does dimond form a lattice?

Im doing a practice paper for AS chemistry and i have a question that asks me to explain why both Diamond and sodium chloride have high melting points. and i know Diamond has strong covalent bonds which give a high melting point, but i wondered if like NaCl it formed a lattice structure?
