Is majoring in Environmental Engineering a good choice?
Well, I'm a high school senior, and I'm almost done with my school year. It took me a really long time to decide on what to apply for at uni. I was basically looking for something that's not very common in my region, and that would guarantee me a good job as well. I found that environmental engineering meets my requirements. I already applied in 5 unis in the UK. Leeds, Southampton, UCL, Endinbrugh, and Nottingham. Leeds is my first choice because i feel like their program is the most specialized. All the other unis put environmental with either mechanical or chemical or civil engineering. I just want to know if I'm making the right choice about this major. Specially that I'm a girl, I'm worried that the labor might be too much or something. I don't know much about the fields of work because I don't know anyone that has majored in it. Please let me know any information you have about the uni i've chosen for this program, and the major and it's job field. Thank you.
