New job (blackjack dealer)?

I am in training to become a blackjack dealer at night and it is all about the tips! I want to know if you can think of or have heard anything funny at the table. And when a player looses we are told not to say sorry, and instead say better luck next time...I don't like that either If I am loosing I don't want to hear better luck next time it sounds like I am being mocked..what do you think?
