We were friends and just liek that he stopped talkin to me ? What happened? Why did he do that to me ??

Okay so in the past I was really close with this guy. First let me start off by saying he has a gf and did when we were friends. We were really close and saw eachother everyday, at work, and we talked every night. On the weekends we hung out too, oh and it usually was with other friends. So we became really close and were for about three years and he would tell me abut his gf and his problems and call me after they hung out ..and all this..The thing is one year out of no where he stopped talking to me ...gave me no closure, no anwser, nothing...He would tell our mutal friends that I used him and only called him when I needed things..eventually he cut me off and I never really heard from him again...except from time to time and he still does tells freinds to say hi to me and asks how I am...the thing is I feel like he knew we could never be friends in teh future because his gf didint liek me and it wasnt possible..sometim/es i ask if he cut it off bc he realized it was emotional cheatin
