What size jacket should i get ?

I want to buy a fleece jacket online, but don't know if i should get a medium or large; i'm a guy about 5'10 155 lbs. Fashionably speaking, should it fit a bit tight or is it better to have extra room and a few extra inches of length on the bottom?
